We are excited to be able to bring the Highlander Inn – Craigellachie Annual Release bottles! These annual releases are highly sought-after collectibles, and we are happy to be able to bring a small number to Singapore.

The 2024 release is a 17-year-old Glen Grant bottled at 53.4%. Bottles are very limited as this is a single cask of 276 bottles, and we only have a few bottles available.

Enrico Gaddoni (Whisky expert), provided tasting notes for the Glen Grant:

• Nose: Pear, lemongrass, mint tea, citrus peel, orange blossom and fennel. Showing a very delicate and light character, surprisingly no high alcohol strength is jumping out. 
• Palate: Creamy, pears, green apple, chamomile and lemon cake. Nice, soft, grassy and floral at the same time. Changes quickly towards candy notes, apricot, mango, pineapple. Perfect for a summer highball!
• Finish: Long and hot. Floral and herbal, waxy and star anise. It keeps going soft, a nice rollercoaster. 

Comment: A good and easy drinking in my opinion. It is not easy to find Glen Grant from an independent bottler anymore, so take the opportunity to enjoy this one. .. and let's not forget that Glen Grant was was the best selling single malt in Italy  during the 1970s.
